Where is Normal?  What is Normal?  There is no Normal.

Multi-family vacations offer fun memories for the kids….and lots of food prep, laundry and interesting conversation for the adults.   Melton, Yanez, and Duran  kids (+2 friends)…watching the tide roll away.

Often times I feel like the soaring bird in this photo, looking for a place to land.  It is by the grace of God that I do have a solid place to return to each and every time I fly away.  This is Morrow Rock and to me it exemplifies what we all need – a solid rock to nest upon.  Where (or who) is your rock?

As we get to the end of the Jacaranda’s blooming season, I realize I will miss the way my garden looks bathed in small purple flowers.  I will miss the cool breezes of spring and the gloom of June.  I will miss what was, but I look forward to all that will be.
