3 Things little Road Angels
1. Sometimes, your angel can appear in any form, even someone on a bike yelling at you as you drive pass them, trying to tell you that you are driving the wrong way on a one way street.
2. Just because their light is green does not mean they will stop. It’s amazing what we take for granted on the road.
3. Velocity is force of nature. The only way to beat it is to slow down. Or stop.

1. Vacations begin and end the moment you DECIDE they do.
2. Jet skiing in the ocean is both an upper and lower body work out. Especially when you ride with two kids who are clinging to you for dear life while screaming, “Faster! Go Faster!” even though you have hit 57 mph and are barely hanging on yourself!
3. You are never too old to try something new – especially on vacation.

1. The power of experiencing live music is not to be underestimated.
2. One game can bring together a whole world.
3. Similarities are more abundant that differences.

Those who can count.
And those who can’t.”

1. Yesterday, I heard a man speak about courage. He stated that the most courageous people he has ever met are the ones, regardless of education-background-race-age, who have had the courage to change, to look at their lives, realize what is not working, and find the courage to do life differently, to become better people, and to ultimately add to our overall human experience in a positive way. Courage is what it takes to face something head-on, without retreating, when it really counts. I learned I am courageous.
2. This week I have learned that we must never assume there may never be another chance to connect with someone. Give of yourself today, as today is all we have.
3. UCLA has it’s own planetarium. It’s been there since the 1960′s. I did not know it existed even when I attended UCLA. Once again learning the lesson that valuable resources are all around us and ours to experience – if we open our eyes and seek with curiosity and a love of learning new things.

1. I am officially the parent of a teenager and I am not dealing particularly well with that information OR with my teenager….
2. Guilt is like reverse pride – and thus, not a good character trait. What a relief!!!!! I can let it ALL go.
3. I miss the Time Lady. 853-1212. Or 853 any four numbers – from any area code. I can honestly still hear her voice, “At the tone the time will be…….beeeeep!” I now have no beep to set my life to in questionable times….hmmm…something more to ponder.
