(Nope, it is NOT that indelicate slice to make childbirth easier.)Noun. Philosophy. The theory of knowledge, especially with regard to its methods, validity, and scope. Epistemology is the investigation of what distinguishes justified belief from opinion.
I guess there could be an epistemology as to the necessity of an episiotomy, but as someone who has experienced one and is studying the other, I’d like to suggest that we just focus on using them correctly in a sentence.
