All those present at The Female Alliance Network’s “Bring the Girls to Bloomingdale’s” event felt supported – in many ways.

Supporting the Group
As the gracious hosts of our networking event, Bloomingdale’s Sherman Oaks and Gale Hetherington, Group Manager and Nancy Peck, Public Relations Manager provided a lovely venue and a unique opportunity for each of us to expand our connections.

Supporting “The Girls”
Bloomingdales brought in lingerie fit experts Beth Ailman Hart from Wacoal and Irma Gomez from Le Mystere to re-educate us on the proper function and fit of a bra. The knowledge these self described “Boobologists” provided intrigued and delighted all present. And of the members who chose to have a professional bra sizing? Well let’s just say that being smaller around and bigger out front was very well received.

Supporting Women
Our need for connection and support seems to be growing at lightening speed – people are connecting and reconnecting anyway they can – online through Facebook, Linkedin, and MySpace; through blogs, Twitter, texting on our phones, online seminars, webinars, teleseminars, and local, national and international gatherings targeted to any and every interest.

The Female Alliance Network was founded to facilitate alliances between women through connection, collaboration and respect. FAN members are committed to helping women achieve success, both personally and professionally, by building strategic relationships with organizations, such as Bloomingdales, as well as with an array of incredible individuals, like those members introduced last night, Yvonne Randolph, Julie Daradics and Gale Hetherington. Through on-going networking events, seminars, peer-to-peer learning, referrals, and the introduction of members at our gatherings, FAN provides unique opportunities to give and receive support, to create lasting relationships, and to grow personally and professionally.

As we grow, our power to help our selves and one another grows.  We are fortunate that Bloomingdale’s is delighted to host future events.
